Resin extract is a source of nutrients necessary for the prevention of various heart diseases. Resin extract improves blood circulation, maintains vascular health, has an antithrombotic effect, and normalizes blood pressure, as it contains B vitamins, vitamin C, E, unsaturated fatty acids, magnesium, and succinic acid.
The B vitamins found in pine nut oil help fight coronary heart disease and are effective in its prevention. In addition, vitamin B6 regulates the work of the heart muscle, and thiamine (vitamin B1) is necessary for proper сardiac muscle contraction.
Vitamin C is found in pine resin, the second component of the resin extract. This vitamin activates metabolism, destroys bad cholesterol, and strengthens the heart muscle. It also suppresses inflammation in the capillaries that can lead to atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease.
Vitamin E from pine nut oil plays an important regulatory role for the entire cardiovascular system. Its preventive effect also occurs at the gene level, since vitamin E regulates the expression of genes that play a key role in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Unsaturated fatty acids
Absolutely all unsaturated fatty acids contained in pine nut oil are beneficial for the health of the cardiovascular system. So, studies have shown that oleic acid lowers cholesterol and triglycerides levels. Linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids have a similar effect. Pinolenic acid, found only in pine products, improves blood and liver lipid levels.
Magnesium is a mineral from pine nut oil that improves metabolism in heart tissues and prevents blood clots. Magnesium deficiency has been found to increase the risk of cerebrovascular accident (stroke), hypertension, and other cardiovascular diseases. This mineral is included in the structure of a huge number of enzymes and in their composition is involved in the production of energy that is so necessary for the muscle fibers of the heart.
Succinic acid is a component of pine resin. It prevents the development of adverse changes in the myocardium, and also allows you to correct existing damage to blood vessels and the heart. This effect was confirmed in a study involving adolescents aged 12-18 years with a predisposition to cardiovascular diseases.
Given the fact that heart disease is the number one cause of death worldwide, regular use of resin extract is recommended for anyone, regardless of age and gender.
