Ways to Use Pine Nut Products

An important feature of pine nut products is the variety of their applications. Since these are completely natural products without chemical additives and preservatives, they can be used both externally and internally:

  • Consume them as a dietary supplement, before meals;
  • Include them in your favorite dishes;
  • Apply them to the skin, including damaged areas (from acne to scratches);
  • Add them to cosmetic products to enrich their composition;
  • Use them to create homemade cosmetics for the face, body, and hair, adding other natural ingredients.

Pine nut oil and resin extract

Internal use:

  • A teaspoon on an empty stomach, half an hour before meals, three times a day;
  • As a dressing / sauce for salads. You can dress salads only with the oil or use it to create complex sauces. For example, you can mix pine nut oil with honey and lemon juice to create a refreshing sauce with a slight nutty flavor;
  • As a topping for desserts and cereals.

Please note: when used in cooking, pine nut oil is not recommended to be heated. When heated, it loses its healing properties.

External use:

  • For the treatment of damaged or dry skin areas. Pine nut oil has antibacterial properties and promotes natural hydration. Simply apply a small amount of the oil to the affected area.
  • To enrich the composition of face or hand creams: just add a drop of pine nut oil to the cream before applying it.
  • For hair. Use pine nut oil as part of homemade hair cosmetics. It can be mixed with natural ingredients such as honey, herbal infusions, fermented milk products, and others.

The methods of using resin extract are the same. However, we recommend using pure pine nut oil for adding to food, as it has a more pleasant taste. Resin extract, in turn, has more pronounced healing properties due to the fact that its component is pine resin. For skin diseases, we recommend giving preference to resin extract.

Pine nut flakes

Internal use:

  • As a substitute for muesli, pouring any vegetable milk.
  • As a topping or one of the ingredients for smoothies, cereals, salads, and desserts.
  • For baking: add pine nut flakes to the dough to give it a special texture and a unique nutty aroma.

External use:

Pine nut flakes is an excellent natural exfoliant, so it can be used as a component of facial, body, and scalp scrubs. Complement flakes with natural essential oils, honey, sea salt, or natural sugar.

May you and your loved ones stay healthy, beautiful, and young!
