How to cook Mini Strudel with Apples and Pine Nuts
- Filo dough 120 g
- Pears 1 piece
- Apple 2 pieces
- Butter 40 g
- Sugar 50 g
- Honey 20 g
- Pine nuts 50 g
- Breadcrumbs 20 g
- Preheat oven to 390 F. In a dry frying pan fry the nuts for 2-3 minutes and transfer to a plate. In the same pan, melt half (about 1 tablespoon) of butter and pour into separate cup.
- Peel apples and pears and remove seeds, cut into small cubes, fry with the remaining butter and sugar for about 5-7 minutes, remove the heat, add breadcrumbs, honey, nuts and mix.
- Lay out the sheets of filo dough, put on every 2-3 tablespoons of the filling, roll up the tube, twisting the ends. Grease the finished rolls with melted butter.
- Bake for about 10 minutes and then oil again while hot.
